How to Play

*Town of Salem* accommodates 7 to 15 players, each randomly assigned to various alignments: Town (the good guys), Mafia, Serial Killers, Arsonists, and Neutrals. As a Town member, your mission is to identify and eliminate the Mafia and other villains before they eradicate you. The twist? You don't know who's on your side and who's plotting against you. If you're cast as an evil role, such as a Serial Killer, your task is to secretly dispatch Town members under the cover of night while evading detection.

Roles

With 33 unique roles, *Town of Salem* ensures a fresh experience each time you play. Before the game kicks off, players gather in a lobby where the host can handpick the roles that will be in play. Once the game starts, roles are randomly assigned from this selection, and each player receives an in-game role card detailing their abilities and alignment. Game Phases

Night

The night phase is when most roles activate their abilities. Serial Killers quietly eliminate targets, Doctors attempt to heal those under attack, and Sheriffs probe for suspicious behavior.

Day

During the day phase, Town members engage in discussions to pinpoint potential evil roles among them. Once the voting phase begins, a majority vote from the Town can send someone to trial.

Defense

In the defense phase, you have the opportunity to argue your case and prove your innocence to the Town. A compelling defense can save you from the gallows.

Judgement

The judgement phase is when the Town decides the fate of the accused. Players can vote guilty, innocent, or abstain. If guilty votes outnumber innocent votes, the accused faces execution by hanging.

Customization

*Town of Salem* allows players to personalize their experience with options like choosing their map (town setting), character, pet, lobby icon, death animation, house, and a custom name. Your selections will be visible to other players in the game.
