Application Description
A chess training system crafted by the world's foremost trainer, Mark Dvoretsky.
Mark Dvoretsky is widely recognized as the world's leading chess trainer. Many of his students have won World and European youth championships and later earned Grandmaster titles. Among them, Artur Yusupov, Nana Aleksandria, Sergey Dolmatov, and Aleksey Dreev competed in candidates' matches for the world championship. The success of numerous Soviet Grandmasters can be partly attributed to Dvoretsky's highly effective training methodology and his unique collection of training exercises. This includes a wealth of deeply instructive positional studies and exercises specifically designed to develop the essential skills of a practical player—such as optimizing search technique and making correct decisions. For example, these exercises help cultivate positional intuition, imagination, calculation technique, the art of setting traps, and the ability to favorably exchange pieces at the decisive moment. Until recently, this exercise database was accessible only to his select pupils. Now, after extensive computerization, categorization, and verification, it is available to every ambitious chess player. It is exceptionally valuable for advanced players, ranging from experts to grandmasters. The computerized system enables the use of modern training methods, many of which were previously unavailable or only possible with direct coach supervision. It delivers first-class material to chess players and coaches alike, promising years of use and substantial improvement in playing strength. This course offers 200 meticulously selected exercises for expert, master, and advanced players (ELO 2000 – 2400) covering these key themes: Strategy and Planning, Calculation of Variations, Endgame Technique, and Defense in Inferior Positions.
This course is part of the Chess King Learn series, an unprecedented chess instruction method. The series encompasses courses in tactics, strategy, openings, middlegame, and endgame, categorized by skill level from beginner to experienced and even professional players.
This course will help you expand your chess understanding, learn new tactical ideas and combinations, and solidify this knowledge through practice.
