Quiz questions are themed around the game being offered. In quizzes consisting of 8 questions, each question has a 10-second answer time. Contestants who correctly answer the first 7 questions earn the right to see the final question. The participant who answers the final question correctly and fastest wins the prize.

Tokens are the virtual currency of Press X. Users can earn the right to enter the major quiz and to skip two questions in any quiz using coins. One skip can be used on any of the first 6 questions, and the other can only be used on the 7th question.
