Jason Sudeikis Confirms Ted Lasso Season 4 Arrival

Apr 13,2025 Author: Camila

Jason Sudeikis, the star and producer of the beloved Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso, has officially announced that the show is gearing up for a fourth season. During a recent appearance on the New Heights sports podcast hosted by NFL brothers Jason and Travis Kelce, Sudeikis shared exciting news about the continuation of the series following the conclusion of Season 3 in the summer of 2023.

In the podcast, Sudeikis revealed, "That's what we're writing. We're writing Season 4 now. That's the official word, yeah. Ted's coaching a women's team." This snippet from the podcast has sparked enthusiasm among fans eagerly awaiting more of the feel-good soccer series. The announcement was accompanied by a social media post from the New Heights account, teasing the new episode with Jason Sudeikis and hinting at the video's release on YouTube.

This update marks the first concrete news on the show's continuation in nearly two years, providing much-needed relief for fans who have been hoping for more episodes. While details such as whether Season 4 will be the final installment or the specific setting remain undisclosed, Sudeikis humorously dodged Travis Kelce's inquiries about Ted's potential return to the U.S., stating, "Yeah, that's too many questions, and that's only because I don't know."

In addition to Sudeikis' return, Deadline reports that Juno Temple is in negotiations to reprise her role as Keeley, with Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift already confirmed to return as Rebecca, Roy, and Leslie, respectively. Filming for the first episode of Season 4 is expected to begin in Kansas City in July before the action shifts back to the UK.

Apple TV+ is actively working to keep Ted Lasso in the public eye, with the show's official X/Twitter account playfully acknowledging its hiatus with a post that read, "Finally found the dang password to this thing. Sorry y’all. What’d I miss?"

The last significant update on Ted Lasso came in the summer of 2024, when Deadline reported that Season 4 was nearing greenlight status.
