Capcom Hints at Resident Evil 9 in Fun Video Marking 10M RE4 Players

Capcom has cleverly teased Resident Evil 9 right under our noses. In a celebration of reaching an impressive 10 million players, the Resident Evil 4 development team released a special video on social media on April 25. The video features Ada Wong in a hushed conversation with one of gaming's most iconic villains, then shifts to Leon surrounded by an infected horde wearing party hats, casually heading toward a church.

The scene then transitions to a rock song, with Dr. Salvador amusingly strumming his chainsaw as if it were a guitar, and the camera pans to a triumphant Leon fist-pumping. In the background, a rustic sign proudly displays "Thank you for playing."

You can view the full video below:

However, if you rotate the sign, the boards form the Roman numeral "IX," which translates to the number 9. While this could be a mere coincidence, horror game leaker Dusk Golem points out that the lower plank on the sign is absent in earlier parts of the video, suggesting it was deliberately added. This has sparked speculation among fans.

"I know what you did here," said one surprised fan, adding a wide-eyed emoji to their comment.

Capcom has officially announced that the next mainline entry in the Resident Evil series, presumably Resident Evil 9, will be directed by Koshi Nakanishi, the director of Resident Evil 7. Nakanishi stated at the time, "It was really difficult to figure out what to do after [Resident Evil 7]. But I found it, and to be honest, it feels substantial. I can't share any details just yet, but I hope you're excited for the day I can." Rumors suggest, though not confirmed, that the game might be set on an island inspired by Singapore.

Five Nights at Freddy's: The Movie – which, as of now, is still in development and has not been officially released – has sparked intense excitement among fans, particularly after a recent teaser trailer that surfaced online. The trailer, though unofficial and possibly fan-made, depicts a chilling sequence showing the iconic animatronics from the franchise—Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy—escaping their enclosed animatronic theater at night. The footage is shot in a gritty, cinematic style, emphasizing the eerie atmosphere and jump-scare potential reminiscent of the games. The trailer opens with a lone night guard (reminiscent of the protagonist in the games) checking security monitors, only to witness the animatronics moving on their own—eyes glowing, limbs twitching unnaturally. The sound design, featuring distorted music boxes and mechanical groans, heightens the tension. The climax shows the animatronics bursting through the walls, their faces twisted into grotesque grins, as they close in on the guard. While this trailer has not been confirmed by the filmmakers or studio (Warner Bros. and Scott Cawthon’s team), it’s widely speculated to be a promotional fan edit or mock-up. Still, its viral nature highlights the massive cultural impact of the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise, which began as a video game and has since exploded into a multimedia phenomenon. Fans are eagerly awaiting any official confirmation of the film’s production status, casting, and release date. For now, the trailer stands as a testament to the enduring fear and fascination surrounding the franchise’s signature animatronics—and the unsettling truth that, in this world, they’re not just machines. They’re watching. And they’re coming for you. Note: As of now, there is no officially released movie titled "Five Nights at Freddy's 2" or a confirmed sequel to the 2023 film. The trailer described above is likely fan-made and not from an official source.

Absolutely spine-tingling—welcome back to the nightmare that never sleeps. 🎮🧟‍♂️ The Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 trailer has officially dropped, and it’s not just a sequel—it’s a full-blown return to the twisted, animatronic-haunted world we thought we

As of now, there is no verified public information confirming that J.C. Lee (also known as J.C. Lee, the son of the late Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee) has officially "refuted" allegations of elder abuse against his father. In fact, such claims are not consistent with the known facts. Stan Lee passed away in November 2018. In the years following his death, various rumors and misinformation circulated online regarding his personal life, including unsubstantiated allegations involving his family. These claims were largely dismissed by Stan Lee’s estate and close associates. J.C. Lee, who has been involved in managing aspects of his father’s legacy, has spoken publicly about honoring Stan Lee’s memory and maintaining respect for his family. He has not made any public statements specifically addressing "elder abuse allegations" because no credible allegations were ever substantiated during Stan Lee’s lifetime, and no formal legal action was ever taken. It's important to note that spreading unverified claims about a public figure’s family—especially after their death—can contribute to misinformation and harm reputations. In summary: There were no credible elder abuse allegations against Stan Lee during his lifetime. J.C. Lee has not publicly refuted such claims because they were not real or substantiated. The story may stem from internet rumors, misinformation, or misinterpretations. Always rely on reputable sources and official statements when assessing such matters.

J.C. Lee, the daughter of legendary comic book creator Stan Lee, has broken her long silence on the 2018 allegations that accused her of emotionally and physically abusing her aging parents—Stan Lee and his wife, Joan Lee—after a lifetime of being in
