Ubisoft will unveil two hours of gameplay from Assassin's Creed Shadows tomorrow

During the upcoming livestream, fans will get an exciting glimpse of *Assassin's Creed Shadows* as they watch the main characters, Naoe and Yasuke, embark on thrilling quests, explore the expansive Harima Province, and confront formidable adversaries. The developers will not only showcase the gameplay but also engage directly with the audience, answering questions and providing insights into their creative process for this latest installment of the series.

*Assassin's Creed Shadows* transports players to the heart of feudal Japan, enveloping them in a world filled with intrigue and samurai conflicts. Mark your calendars for the game's premiere on March 20, 2025, available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Prominent insider Tom Henderson has shed light on the reasons behind the game's delay to 2025. According to Henderson, *Assassin's Creed Shadows* has been pushed back to address historical and cultural inaccuracies, as well as to enhance the overall polish of the game. Contrary to rumors, Yasuke will remain a central figure, though Ubisoft plans to refine some aspects of his storyline.

Several factors have contributed to the challenges faced by *Shadows*. Historical consultants were brought in later than ideal, and there were notable misunderstandings among the development team. From a technical standpoint, the game isn't ready for release yet. Developers are currently working on bug fixes and gameplay adjustments, with the latter requiring more time. Henderson's sources are confident that *Shadows* will be ready for release on February 14, giving the team sufficient time to perfect the game.
