Genshin Impact 5.0 Update Leaks Reveal New Dendro DPS Character and Natlan Region Details

Exciting news for Genshin Impact players! A recent leak has unveiled details about a new five-star Dendro DPS character slated for the highly anticipated 5.0 update, which will introduce the Natlan region. This update follows the conclusion of Fontaine's main storyline.

The addition of Natlan, the Pyro nation known for its association with war and ruled by the Pyro Archon Murata (the God of War), is a major event for the Genshin Impact community, promising a wealth of new content including landscapes, characters, weapons, and storylines.

According to leaker Uncle K, the new Dendro character will be a male Claymore-wielder, a unique combination for a five-star unit. His abilities will center around the Bloom and Burning elemental reactions. Bloom, created by combining Dendro and Hydro, produces explosive Dendro Cores. Burning, a simpler reaction combining Dendro and Pyro, inflicts a damage-over-time (DoT) effect.

Community Concerns Over Burning Reaction

The reliance on the Burning reaction has sparked some community skepticism, as it’s generally considered less powerful than other Dendro reactions. However, this contrasts with the recent buffs to Emilie, a five-star Dendro support character confirmed for update 4.8, who was initially designed around Burning but has been made more versatile.
