Originally a 2022 BOOOM Gamejam entry by Team Woll, Cato: Buttered Cat's positive reception led to its development into a full game. Currently available on Steam for PC, an Android release is imminent. While the Google Play Store listing isn't live yet, pre-registration is open on the official TapTap page.
Gameplay:
Cato: Buttered Cat is a puzzle platformer where you control both a cat and a slice of buttered toast. Solve puzzles, overcome enemies, and explore five whimsical worlds brimming with quirky contraptions. With 200 levels (including side quests), 30 outfits, and hidden secrets, this game offers hours of fun.
The cat and toast interact dynamically; the cat boasts typical feline agility, while the toast acts as a controllable projectile, enabling access to otherwise unreachable areas. Hidden rooms and Easter eggs add to the replayability.
