If you've always found Dark Souls 3 too challenging to tackle alone, now you can conquer it with friends. Yesterday, modder Yui released a new modification that adds full co-op support for up to six players. This community-driven project, reminiscent of the fan-made co-op mod for Elden Ring, brings cooperative gameplay to an earlier FromSoftware title.
Currently in alpha testing, the mod already allows players to complete the entire game from start to finish. It supports all multiplayer features, including invasions, and operates independently of official servers, meaning there's no risk of being banned.
The optimized connection system ensures co-op partners can join hosts from anywhere in the world, and rejoining after disconnecting is quick and seamless. The Seamless Co-op mod removes all multiplayer limitations present in the original Dark Souls 3, enabling unrestricted playthroughs from the tutorial to the final boss. Additionally, enemy scaling can be adjusted to keep the difficulty balanced and enjoyable, providing a tailored experience for groups of adventurers.
