Levelling up not only enhances your champion's power but also increases your overall account CP (Combat Power), making your team stronger and more competitive.

Upgrading Star Count: In DC: Dark Legion™, each champion starts with a base star count that determines their rarity. For instance, legendary champions begin at 5-stars. You can elevate this star count by using shards of the same champion, which means you'll need to acquire duplicate copies.
