While *Dynasty Warriors: Origins* isn't an open-world game in the truest sense, its sizable world map offers plenty of exploration. Initially, navigation is straightforward due to the relatively small explorable area. However, as the story progresses and more provinces unlock, traversing the map can become a time-consuming chore, especially when juggling the constantly unlocking skirmishes and requests. Fortunately, mastering fast travel is key to efficient gameplay, particularly if you aim to complete all the side content.
Learning how to fast travel in *Dynasty Warriors: Origins* will significantly reduce travel time.
How to Fast Travel in Dynasty Warriors: Origins

Fast travel in *Dynasty Warriors: Origins* utilizes Waymarks. To fast travel, you must first unlock a Waymark by approaching it on the world map and holding X (PlayStation) or A (Xbox). Once unlocked, it appears on the map screen, enabling instant travel.

Accessing the map is simple. Outside of battle, interact with an unlocked Waymark on the world map, or pause the game and navigate to the Map menu using the shoulder buttons. PlayStation players can conveniently access the map by pressing the DualSense touchpad while on the world map.

On the map screen, hovering over an unlocked Waymark displays nearby key locations and battles. To find a specific battle or location, press Square (PlayStation) or X (Xbox) to toggle information. Then, use Triangle (PlayStation) or Y (Xbox) to cycle through available battles and locations. Selecting one will automatically move the cursor to the nearest Waymark.
