Get ready for Pokémon GO's Adventure Week 2024! This August event is packed with incredible rewards and exciting encounters. Following July's events, prepare for a thrilling experience.
Adventure Week Highlights:
Adventure Week runs from Friday, August 2nd, 10 am to Monday, August 12th. The event focuses on Rock-type and Fossil Pokémon. These powerful ancient creatures will be more readily available in the wild, hatching from 7 km Eggs, and appearing in special Field Research tasks.
This year, trainers have an increased chance to catch Shiny Aerodactyl! Other Rock-type Pokémon like Diglett and Bunnelby will also appear more frequently. Keep an eye out – you might just discover a Shiny Aerodactyl during your explorations.
7 km Eggs will hatch Cranidos, Shieldon, Tirtouga, Archen, Tyrunt, and Amaura. These Pokémon can also be found via Field Research, alongside rewards like Aerodactyl Mega Energy.
Spin PokéStops for double XP, with a massive five times XP bonus for your first daily spin! Hatching Pokémon also yields double XP during the event.

Adventure Week includes new PokéStop Showcases and Collection Challenges offering Stardust, Pokémon encounters, and even more Aerodactyl Mega Energy. Five-star raids will feature Moltres, Thundurus Incarnate Forme, and Xerneas.
