Battlestate Games 推出了名为“Khorovod”的全新 Escape from Tarkov 活动。与往常一样，它包含特殊任务和特殊奖励，但这次还加入了特殊的 Khorovod 模式。目标是点亮圣诞树并保护它。该模式在六个不同地点的特定阶段可用。
另一个重大新功能是“声望系统”。为了让热爱挑战的玩家持续享受游戏乐趣，Battlestate Games 在 Escape from Tarkov PvP 中引入了声望模式。其机制与使命召唤有些类似。达到 55 级后，完成特定任务并获得足够的资源，您将可以选择重置角色，同时保留部分装备并获得不会受数据重置影响的奖励。奖励包括成就、各种装饰品和额外任务。
目前只有 2 个声望等级可用，但开发人员承诺稍后会再添加 8 个。这应该能让即使是最忠实的 Escape from Tarkov 粉丝也能持续保持游戏热情。
其他值得注意的改动包括：
升级至 Unity 2022 引擎新的冻伤状态效果：如果您的角色着凉，他们的视野和耐力将会降低。酒精、温暖的来源和庇护所将有助于应对冻伤。冬季主题升级和游戏改动海关地图重制：替换了纹理，并出现了新的物体和兴趣点。七种新武器，包括两支突击步枪和一枚火箭发射器。隐藏的撤离点允许您离开突袭。但是，您需要特殊的物品才能找到它们。新的 BTR 司机任务链藏身处自定义持续治疗的新功能。后坐力平衡和视觉效果改动。大量的平衡性调整和错误修复。随着此次更新，Escape from Tarkov 进行了一次常规数据重置，因此服务器上线几小时后，玩家们将有很多新内容可以探索。
