The developers felt the pressure to maintain win streaks overshadowed the celebratory aspect of achieving them. The feature will be removed on December 16th. Your highest win streak will remain on your profile as a memento.
To soften the blow, players reaching specific win streak milestones (0-9, 10, 25, 50, and 100) before December 16th will receive exclusive emotes. However, there will be no refunds for coins spent on streak boosts. The developers cited maintaining game balance between free and paid players as the reason.
Mixed Reactions
The decision is generating mixed reactions. While some welcome the potential reduction in pay-to-win elements, others are less enthusiastic about the removal and the relatively modest compensation.
