Epic Games has officially unveiled the exciting new Battle Pass skins for Fortnite's upcoming season, titled "Wanted." This season promises an adrenaline-pumping experience centered around heists, complete with gun-toting villains, gold-filled vans, and explosive bank vaults—everything you'd expect from a thrilling robbery scenario.

Scheduled to launch on February 21, the "Wanted" season will introduce a unique collaboration with the iconic fighting game series, Mortal Kombat. Fans can look forward to seeing Sub-Zero as part of the Battle Pass, with the heist theme cleverly integrated into the character skins.

This collaboration is strategically timed to coincide with the promotion of the upcoming film, Mortal Kombat 2, featuring Karl Urban as Johnny Cage and Adeline Rudolph as Kitana. The skins in the Battle Pass will be available for purchase using V-Bucks, Fortnite's premium currency, with each character priced at 1,500 V-Bucks, maintaining the standard pricing.

In terms of weaponry, the Flare Gun, C4, and the Diplomat turret are confirmed to make a return. While other weapons remain unconfirmed, fans are buzzing with speculation about potential comebacks such as the EMP Grenade, classic SMGs, Tommy Gun, and the Grappler, drawing parallels to the previous heist-themed Chapter 4 Season 4.

One of the most anticipated features of this season is the introduction of Smart Building. This innovative mechanic predicts the structure you need based on your aiming direction, enhancing the gameplay experience significantly.

Adding to the heist theme, the gameplay will see a revamped mechanic where keycards are replaced by vault breaches. Players will need Meltanite, Fortnite's thermite equivalent, to crack open these vaults and secure their rewards, adding a new layer of strategy and excitement to the game.
