GTA Online June Update Released

Grand Theft Auto Online's "Bottom Dollar Bounties" Update: New Missions, Vehicles, and Increased Rewards

Rockstar Games has launched the highly anticipated "Bottom Dollar Bounties" update for Grand Theft Auto Online (GTA Online) across all platforms (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC). This substantial summer update, released alongside patch 1.69 for GTA 5, delivers a wealth of new content for players.

Despite its age, GTA Online remains incredibly popular. While typically receiving two major updates annually, its player base remains strong even with the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto 6 in late 2025. Rockstar's commitment to GTA Online is evident with this latest update and the potential for further DLC before year's end.

The "Bottom Dollar Bounties" update reintroduces Maude Eccles from GTA 5's single-player mode, along with her daughter Jenette. Players become the lead bounty hunter for the Bottom Dollar Bail Enforcement business, undertaking new bounty hunting missions. The update also introduces three new law enforcement vehicles for use in fresh Dispatch Work missions with LSPD officer Vincent Effenburger.

Key Features of the Bottom Dollar Bounties DLC:

  • New Missions and Vehicles: Experience thrilling bounty hunting missions and explore nine new vehicles, including sports cars, coupes, and off-road vehicles. Several new vehicles feature Imani Tech or HSW upgrades (PS5 and Xbox Series X/S only). These include the Enus Paragon S, Bollokan Envisage, Übermacht Niobe, Annis Euros X32, Invetero Coquette D1, Declasse Yosemite 1500, and three new law enforcement cruisers: Declasse Impaler SZ, Bravado Dorado, and Bravado Greenwood.
  • Enhanced Rewards: Enjoy increased base payouts for numerous existing activities, such as Open Wheel Races, Taxi Work, A Superyacht Life, and more. Solo players will also find extended timers for Gunrunning and Biker Sell Missions.
  • New Drift Upgrades & Rockstar Creator Tools: Customize select vehicles with new drift upgrades and utilize updated tools and props within the Rockstar Creator.

This free update significantly expands GTA Online's content, offering both new experiences and enhanced rewards to entice returning players. The long-term support for GTA Online, and its relationship to the eventual launch of GTA 6's online component, remains an interesting question for fans.
