Hearthstone's Season 8 has arrived, bringing exciting updates to Battlegrounds! This season introduces new heroes, minions, cards, and a revamped system – Trinkets. Let's explore what awaits.

Trinkets: Your New Power-Ups

The core gameplay change is the introduction of Trinkets. These power-ups, available on turns 6 and 9, offer 4 choices each time. There are 56 Lesser Trinkets and 60 Greater Trinkets, with some allowing for multiple selections. The Trinkets offered are tailored to your hero and current board composition, ensuring a variety of options for players using Elementals, Dragons, Murlocs, or any other strategy.

Meet Marin the Manager: The New Hero

Marin the Manager joins the fray, providing a significant advantage. He allows you to acquire a Trinket a turn earlier than usual, giving you a strategic edge. See Marin in action here:

Minions and Spells: A Roster Refresh

Season 8 sees a shake-up in the minion roster. While 41 minions are rotated out, 22 fan favorites return, accompanied by 27 brand-new minions and 2 fresh Tavern spells.

New Cards to Collect

Four new cards add depth to the gameplay:

• Free Travel Winner (Tier 2): A 2/2 minion that disappears after surviving combat, rewarding you with a Triple Reward.
• Inspiring Underdog (Tier 4): Strengthens your lower-tier minions.
• Lucky Egg (Tier 5): Transforms a Tier 3 minion into a Golden Tier 3 minion.
• Sun Screener (Tier 6): A 10/1 minion granting Divine Shield to your three leftmost minions and your opponent's.

Marin Resort's Treasure Hunt Event

From August 27th to September 17th, participate in the Marin Resort's Treasure Hunt event. Complete Event Quests to earn 14 packs, including those from Perils in Paradise and Whizbang's Workshop.
