Jump King, the 2D platformer that has become a beloved challenge for gamers who enjoy a good rage-quit, has now made its way to mobile devices. Nexile and UKIYO Publishing have successfully launched the game globally on both Android and iOS platforms following a brief testing phase in select countries.
Initially soft launched in the UK, Canada, the Philippines, and Denmark back in March, Jump King Mobile retains the same grueling jumping mechanics that players encountered on PC and consoles, where it debuted in 2019 and 2020, respectively.
What’s Jump King on Mobile Like?
In Jump King, you take on the role of an armored character with a singular mission: to jump. However, these jumps require pinpoint precision and unforgiving accuracy. A single misstep will send you tumbling back to the start, but don't worry—every jump is autosaved.
Your ultimate goal is to reach the summit and meet the Smoking Hot Babe of Legend. Be warned, though; she won't offer any shortcuts. A poorly timed leap means you'll have to begin your ascent all over again.
The controls have been meticulously adapted for mobile play. Simply hold to charge your jump and release to soar. The game demands precision and patience, yet it often leads to moments of panic and regrettable choices.
What Else Should You Know?
Jump King Mobile operates on a heart-based system. You start with 300 hearts, and each fall costs you one. You can replenish your hearts by spinning a daily fortune wheel, which offers between 10 and 150 hearts, or by watching ads when you run out, with a limit of 150 free hearts available this way.
The mobile version includes two expansive add-ons. New Babe+ introduces a second chapter with a unique and challenging path, while Ghost of the Babe takes you into a chilling third act set in a hauntingly desolate landscape beyond Philosopher’s Forest.
If Jump King piques your interest, you can download it from the Google Play Store.
