Excitement is building as the next installment of the Mortal Kombat movie franchise gears up for release, and fans have just been treated to a first glimpse of a new character: the iconic Johnny Cage. Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon has unveiled a striking poster featuring Karl Urban, known for his roles in The Boys and Judge Dredd, as the Hollywood actor and fighter, Johnny Cage. The poster cleverly mimics a promotional image for a fictional Johnny Cage movie, showcasing two motorcycles dramatically leaping from flames.
Mortal Kombat 2 serves as a direct sequel to the 2021 reboot, which introduced audiences to Lewis Tan's Cole Young, Hiroyuki Sanada's Scorpion, and Joe Taslim's Sub-Zero.
