Pokemon GO Tour: Unova Brings Black and White Kyurem!
Get ready, Pokemon GO trainers! Black and White Kyurem are finally arriving in Pokemon GO as part of the global GO Tour: Unova event, running March 1st and 2nd.
These highly anticipated legendary Pokemon will be appearing in raids, offering players a chance to catch both their standard and shiny forms. The event also features special in-game backgrounds inspired by the classic Pokemon Black and White games.
The arrival of Black and White Kyurem fulfills a long-awaited wish for many fans. While a surprise early release occurred in 2023, their official debut within a themed event makes perfect sense, given the Unova region focus of GO Tour: Unova.
Fusion Frenzy: Create Black and White Kyurem!
Similar to last year's Necrozma fusion event, trainers can fuse Kyurem with other legendary Pokemon!
- Black Kyurem: Fuse Kyurem with Zekrom using 1000 Volt Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Zekrom Candy. This fusion unlocks the "Freeze Shock" attack.
- White Kyurem: Fuse Kyurem with Reshiram using 1000 Blaze Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Reshiram Candy. This fusion unlocks the "Ice Burn" attack.
Fusion is temporary; separating the Pokemon is free. Acquire the necessary Fusion Energy by defeating Kyurem in raids.
Exclusive Event Rewards:
Completing these fusions unlocks unique event backgrounds inspired by Pokemon Black and White. Unlocking both fusions grants an additional, special background.
