A new 3-minute demo for the upcoming low-poly puzzle game, Alterworlds, has been released, showcasing its unique mechanics. The game follows a journey across the galaxy in search of a lost loved one, incorporating elements of jumping between planets, overcoming obstacles with blasts, and manipulating artifacts.

While the plot might seem familiar, Alterworlds distinguishes itself through its gameplay and captivating visual style. Its low-poly, cel-shaded aesthetic, inspired by artists like Moebius, creates a retro yet visually appealing experience.

The top-down perspective cleverly masks the puzzle game's depth. Players will engage in jumping, shooting, and object manipulation across diverse planetary environments, from barren moons to vibrant dinosaur-inhabited worlds.

The only potential drawback might be the slightly awkward tutorial narration. However, this is a truly unique puzzle game, and Idealplay's development warrants attention, particularly its potential translation to mobile platforms.
