Pine Hearts: A Little to the Left Devs Launch Mobile Game
Nov 28,2025Author: Layla
Pine Hearts has officially launched on mobile devices today. Developed by Hyper Luminal Games, it originally debuted on PC and Switch. On mobile, the game is published by Secret Mode, the team behind A Little to the Left. This heartwarming hiking adventure draws inspiration from the Scottish Highlands.
Reliving cherished memories, coping with grief, and lending a helping hand…
The game offers a cozy and introspective journey. You play as Tyke, a character returning to Pine Hearts Caravan Park—a place filled with childhood holiday memories. The setting, inspired by the Cairngorms, invites you to wander through forest trails, discover hidden caves, and explore ancient castle ruins.
You can also splash through tidal pools and enjoy playful moments on the beach. As Tyke, you’ll come to terms with the loss of your father while taking on the challenge of climbing the mountain he never conquered.
Quests are wonderfully whimsical and light-hearted. Activities include judging a vegetable contest, leading a brass band, rescuing lost bees, and assisting a friendly ghost. Other missions involve rebuilding a whale-watching boat, setting up camera traps to capture evidence of a mysterious creature, and uncovering hidden Viking artifacts.
Along the way, you can pet friendly dogs, gently pat crabs, and take quiet breaks—like sitting on a bench to soak in the views. New abilities gradually unlock previously inaccessible areas and create shortcuts across the map.
The story unfolds through five memory clips—brief but emotionally resonant moments from Tyke’s adventure. To get a feel for the game, take a look at the beautiful visuals of Pine Hearts below.
Staying true to its name, Pine Hearts radiates warmth and kindness
To celebrate today’s launch, Secret Mode is hosting a Pine Hearts merchandise giveaway. One lucky winner will receive a T-shirt, beanie, and mug. Entry details are available on the Pine Hearts X account.
The game also comes packed with accessibility features, including simplified controls, visual effect toggles, scalable fonts, high-contrast and color-blocking modes, and full input remapping.
The free trial offers about 20–25 minutes of exploration across Reflection Point and the Campsite. The full version is available as a one-time purchase for $4.99. Be sure to check it out on the Google Play Store.
