BioWare's Focus Shifts to Mass Effect 5, Leaving Veilguard DLC Unlikely
Dragon Age Remastered Collection Remains a Possibility, Says Creative Director
According to Rolling Stone, BioWare has confirmed no current plans for Dragon Age: The Veilguard DLC. With the game's official release, BioWare has shifted its resources to the next Mass Effect title. While specifics regarding Veilguard DLC remain undisclosed, Epler addressed the potential for a remastered Dragon Age collection, similar to the Mass Effect Legendary Edition.
Epler expressed enthusiasm for a Dragon Age remaster but acknowledged significant challenges due to the older games' use of EA's proprietary engines. He stated, "It's not going to be as easy as Mass Effect, but we do love the original games. Never say never."
