Your sleep research is about to get a new metallic visitor - the Steel-type Pokémon Mawile makes its grand entrance into Pokémon Sleep. Alongside this debut, the Packed Portions Cooking Week kicks off next week with enhanced culinary features.
Mawile Arrives in Pokémon Sleep
Starting June 9, 2025 at 3:00 PM GMT, trainers can encounter Mawile during sleep research sessions. This sharp-toothed Pokémon appears across three locations: Greengrass Isle, Taupe Hollow, and Old Gold Power Plant, particularly during Slumbering sleep types.
Mawile comes equipped with its signature Hyper Cutter skill (known in-game as Ingredient Draw S), which randomly pulls ingredients during research. With some luck, this ability can yield bonus ingredients beyond normal amounts.
Coinciding with Mawile's debut, the Packed Portions Cooking Week Part 1 event runs from June 9-16 with these exciting features:
- 50% larger cooking pots daily (200% capacity on Sundays)
- +5 Energy recovery from all meals
- 1.5x multiplier for Ingredient Magnet S/Draw S skills
- Base dish strength boosted 1.5x (3x for Extra Tasty dishes, 4.5x on Sundays)
- Ingredients-specialty Pokémon gather +1 ingredient per collection
Training Opportunities
The limited-time Mini Candy Boost reduces Dream Shard costs while doubling candy EXP gains (though it consumes four times more Dream Shards per candy).
Beyond Mawile, these Pokémon will appear more frequently during the event:
Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Gastly, Pinsir, Eevee, Dratini, Wooper, Murkrow, Aron, Heracross, Delibird, Happiny, Sprigatito, and Fuecoco
