Warcraft's 30th Anniversary Celebrated in Candy Crush Saga!
Blizzard is celebrating Warcraft's 30th anniversary with a surprising collaboration: a Candy Crush Saga event! From November 22nd to December 6th, players can choose to fight for the Humans (Team Tiffi) or the Orcs (Team Yeti) in a series of team-based challenges.
This unique event features a competitive tournament structure with qualifiers, knockouts, and finals. Victorious players will earn impressive rewards, including 200 in-game gold bars.
An Unexpected Partnership
This collaboration between the iconic Warcraft franchise and the popular match-3 game Candy Crush Saga is certainly unexpected. However, given the immense popularity of both franchises and their shared corporate lineage, it's perhaps not entirely surprising. The event also highlights Warcraft's broad appeal, reaching beyond its traditional hardcore gaming fanbase.
