Nintendo has released a list of Switch games receiving free performance enhancements on Switch 2, detailing the upgrades players can anticipate.
Titles like Arms, Pokémon Scarlet & Pokémon Violet, Super Mario Odyssey, and The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom will benefit from performance boosts on Switch 2.

By connecting your Nintendo Switch 2 to the internet and performing a system update, you can download free updates for select games, potentially enhancing graphics or enabling features like GameShare. The specifics of these updates vary by game.
These enhancements are free and distinct from Nintendo Switch 2 Edition games, which are premium upgrades (except for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, offered free to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers).
What can Switch 2 owners expect? For instance, Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will feature enhanced image quality for high-resolution TVs and a smoother framerate for fluid motion.
Super Mario Odyssey will gain HDR support and GameShare, allowing two players to collaborate online, one controlling Mario and the other Cappy. Full details follow below.
Notably, Nintendo’s list omits framerate fixes for the two top-down Zelda games, a surprising oversight given their known performance issues.
