Play Together announces Lunar New Year celebration for the Year of the Snake

Apr 02,2025 Author: Lucy

As we approach the end of January, it's only fitting that the next major event on the horizon for many is the Lunar New Year. In keeping with the festivities, Haegin's social gaming platform, Play Together, is gearing up to celebrate the Year of the Snake with a series of engaging events. This year's celebration comes with a twist as the Full Moon Rice Cake Workshop has seen its rice cakes mysteriously turn into monsters.

Players can dive into the action by assisting the workshop owner in rebuilding the destroyed facility and retrieving the scattered rice cakes. This endeavor will reward you with exclusive cosmetics, enhancing your in-game appearance. But the fun doesn't stop there; you'll also have to tackle the Rice Cake Monsters roaming around key locations like the Plaza Area, the Camping Ground, and the Downtown Korea Travel Center. Armed with your trusty pick-axe, defeating these monsters will earn you Rice Cake Dough, which can be exchanged for unique rewards such as the Soft and Chewy Name Tag and the Rice Cake Workshop Profile.

In addition to battling monsters, Play Together is running an attendance event. By logging in for seven consecutive days, you can claim exciting gifts like the Tteokguk Hairband and the Sebae motion. To sweeten the deal further, a new coupon event tied to the Lunar New Year will offer players the chance to acquire items such as the Lucky Gem Box and Lizard Egg.

From January 30th to February 5th, the Locating the Missing Rice Cake Dough event will be live, allowing those who have collected Rice Cake Dough to trade it for coveted items including the New Year's Money Pouch and the VVIP Card Pack.

With these extensive events, Play Together is set to provide a memorable celebration of one of the year's most significant cultural events, the Lunar New Year.
