Point-And-Click Mystery Game The Darkside Detective Is Now Out, Along With Its Sequel A Fumble in the Dark

Akupara Games has been dropping a lot of games lately. We covered their recent release of Zoeti, a deck-builder and now it’s The Darkside Detective, a puzzle game. By the way, they’ve dropped its sequel The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark as well (yes, both games together!).What’s The Scene In The Darkside Detective? The game starts with a dreary, fog-filled night in the city of Twin Lakes. It’s a town where the strange, spooky and downright absurd are just part of the daily grind. The main characters are Detective Francis McQueen and his partner, the always-lovable but occasionally clueless Officer Patrick Dooley.Together, they make up the Darkside Division, the criminally underfunded branch of the Twin Lakes Police Department. You’ll be solving nine bite-sized cases with them while diving into the hilarious and bizarre world of The Darkside Detective and its equally witty sequel, A Fumble in the Dark.In these point-and-click adventures, you’ll find yourself tackling everything. From time-travelling conundrums and flesh-hungry tentacles to unravelling the secrets of a carnival and mafia zombies. Take a look at the trailer The Darkside Detective below to see for yourself!

Will You Try The Games Out?The game is an ode to pop culture, with references to classic horror movies, sci-fi shows or buddy cop flicks. The cases have quite interesting names, like Malice in Wonderland, Tome Alone, Disorient Express, Police Farce, Don of the Dead, Buy Hard and Baits Motel.
One of the best things about the game is how it manages to cram so much humour into every pixelated corner. If you want to try The Darkside Detective, you can grab it from the Google Play Store at $6.99. You can also try A Fumble in the Dark without trying out the prequel, so check that out on Google Play, too.
