PS5 Release Date Announced by Botany Manor

Botany Manor's PlayStation Release Finally Confirmed for January 28th

Highly-acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor will finally bloom on PlayStation consoles on January 28th, 2025. Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PS4 and PS5 versions were delayed to allow for additional polish.

Originally launched in April 2024 for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, Botany Manor quickly garnered widespread praise, earning a "Strong" rating on OpenCritic with an impressive 83/100 average score and 92% positive reviews. Its charming atmosphere, inventive puzzles, and rewarding exploration cemented its reputation as a top-tier puzzler of 2024.

Publisher Whitethorn Games announced the January 28th launch date on January 9th, fulfilling their earlier promise to reveal a new release window in 2025. While the date is now set, a PlayStation Store page is still pending, meaning pre-orders aren't yet available.

The PlayStation version is expected to retail at $24.99, consistent with other platforms. It will be a one-time purchase without microtransactions, and unlike the Steam version, it's unlikely to include a separate digital soundtrack.

Expanding PlayStation's Puzzle Genre

Botany Manor's arrival significantly enhances the PlayStation puzzle game library. Its success on other platforms strongly suggests it will be a welcome addition.

Once launched on the PlayStation Store, Botany Manor will be available across all initially announced platforms. Developer Balloon Studios has yet to announce their next project. January 28th will also see the PlayStation releases of several other titles, including Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Sone of Madness.
