Retro-Style Roguelike Bullet Heaven Halls of Torment: Premium Is Out Now!

Halls of Torment: Premium, a nostalgic 90s RPG-style survival game, is now available on Android! Published by Erabit Studios and originally developed by Chasing Carrots, this title offers a similar gameplay loop to Vampire Survivors.

Gameplay:

Halls of Torment: Premium features deep character customization, allowing players to mix and match traits, items, and skills to create unique builds. Gameplay involves fast-paced combat, strategic resource management, and completing quests to enhance your character. Players choose from a roster of heroes and delve into spooky, haunted halls, battling enemies, leveling up, collecting gear, and mastering powerful ability combinations. The game boasts a vast array of abilities, traits, and items to experiment with.

With quick, approximately 30-minute runs and a meta-progression system, players continue to progress even after death. This addictive loop proved incredibly popular on PC and is now fully realized on Android. The mobile version includes 11 playable characters, 5 stages, 61 unique items, 30 unique bosses, 20 blessings, and over 300 quests.

Should You Play?

The game's pre-rendered art style evokes a strong sense of 90s RPG nostalgia. Its roguelike survival mechanics, combined with both in-game and out-of-game progression systems, create a compelling blend reminiscent of Vampire Survivors and Diablo.

Halls of Torment: Premium is available now on the Google Play Store for $4.99.
