Netflix has unveiled the thrilling trailer for Electric State, the newest sci-fi epic from the acclaimed directors Anthony and Joe Russo, renowned for their work on Avengers: Endgame. This preview draws viewers into an intense narrative led by Millie Bobby Brown, known for her role in Stranger Things, who portrays a determined young heroine. She is joined by Chris Pratt, famous from Guardians of the Galaxy, playing a mysterious drifter with secrets that could change everything.
The film is set in a bleak future, following a devastating technological collapse that has left the landscape in ruins. Electric State chronicles the harrowing journey of its protagonist across a desolate American frontier as she searches for her lost brother. Accompanying her is a charming yellow robot, bringing a lighter note to the somber setting. Their adventure leads them to cross paths with the enigmatic drifter, whose hidden truths might be crucial in piecing together the enigma of their broken world. Drawing inspiration from the imaginative graphic novels of Simon Stålenhag, the movie promises a blend of emotion and suspense.
