距离11月20日正式发售仅剩一周，《STALKER 2》最终的系统需求终于揭晓。即使是最低画质设置，游戏对硬件的要求也相当高，想要体验更高画质，则需要更强大的配置。

最低配置要求相对适中，但要在4K分辨率下获得流畅的游戏体验和高帧率，则需要一台强大的游戏电脑。“史诗”级别的设置尤其苛刻，其性能要求甚至可能超过2007年《孤岛危机》最高画质设置的臭名昭著的配置要求。
游戏的存储空间需求也从150GB增加到160GB。对于PC用户来说，建议使用SSD，不仅是为了存储空间，也为了加载速度，在游戏中，一个错误的转向都可能致命。
关于诸如Nvidia DLSS和AMD FSR之类的升级选项（这些技术可以在不影响性能的情况下提升视觉质量），开发人员确认游戏将支持两者。但是，具体将采用哪个版本的FSR尚不清楚。
此外，开发人员在2024年Gamescom期间接受Wccftech采访时还证实，游戏将采用软件光线追踪。然而，关于硬件光线追踪，首席制作人Slava Lukyanenka表示：“对我们来说，现在还为时过早，但我们正在尝试。我们正努力在发售日期实现它，但它不太可能在发售时就提供。”
