• New Monsters: Face off against Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the fearsome Tigrex, making their debut in this season. Barioth, Wulg, and Cortos also join the fray. Tigrex will be a formidable opponent in Hunt-a-thons and may even make surprise appearances in the field. Unlock these creatures by completing urgent quests throughout Season 4's story chapters. Access to the tundra is granted upon completing the prologue.

• New Weapon: The Switch Axe: This versatile weapon offers the best of both worlds. Unleash powerful, far-reaching strikes in Axe Mode, then seamlessly transition to Sword Mode for devastating close-quarters combat. Unlock the Switch Gauge by finishing Chapter 2 of the pre-season story.

• Customizable Palico Companions: Recruit your own Palico to aid in gathering materials and scouting monsters. Personalize their fur, facial features, and even give them a unique name. AR functionality lets you bring your Palico into the real world for memorable photos.

• Friend Cheering: Add a collaborative element to your hunts with Friend Cheering. Send cheers to friends for a temporary health boost, though there's a daily limit on the amount of health you can receive this way.
