After a seven-year wait, a Christmas miracle has arrived for Team Fortress 2 fans! Valve has unexpectedly released a new comic, "The Days Have Worn Away," the seventh in the numbered series and the 29th overall. This marks a significant event, as the last TF2 comic was released in 2017.
Valve playfully acknowledged the lengthy development time, likening it to the construction of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. While the builders of that Italian landmark didn't live to see its completion, TF2 players "only" had to wait seven years.

"The Days Have Worn Away" provides a satisfying conclusion to the ongoing storyline, hinting that it may be the final installment. Erik Wolpaw's tweet about "the very last meeting" for the TF2 comic strongly suggests this. Nevertheless, players can now enjoy a resolution to the narrative and a festive dose of Christmas cheer.
