To begin your journey towards the true ending, you must first complete the Shu campaign. Upon completion, you'll gain the ability to replay previously completed stages. Keep an eye out for a gold banner next to The Battle of Changban, signaling an alternative ending. In the standard playthrough, your mission is to aid Liu Bei in escaping with the peasants while Zhang Fei heroically holds off Cao Cao's forces at Changban Bridge.
