With the arrival of patch 7.16 in *Final Fantasy XIV*, players have the opportunity to dive into new quests and snag some exciting new cosmetics. Here’s your guide to unlocking the Pose of the Unbound emote in *FFXIV*.

Acquiring the Pose of the Unbound Emote in FFXIV

To get your hands on the Pose of the Unbound emote, you'll need to embark on the quest called Imposing Views. Start by chatting with the Unbound Agent NPC, found in Ul’dah – Steps of Thal at coordinates X:12.5, Y:11.5.

Before you can take on Imposing Views, make sure you've completed the quest Picking Up the Torch. To unlock this, you’ll first need to finish all five role quests in the game. This means leveling a Tank, Healer, Ranged DPS, Melee DPS, and Magical Ranged DPS to level 100, then completing their respective role quests in Tulliyollal. Once you’ve done that, you can pick up Picking Up the Torch, paving the way for Imposing Views in Ul’dah.

Fortunately, Imposing Views is a straightforward quest. Head to the Sagolii Desert, engage with Apyaahi multiple times, and tackle a few monsters. Upon completion, you’ll be rewarded with the coveted Pose of the Unbound emote.

To show off your new emote, simply type /unbound or /poseoftheunbound into the chat box and press Enter. Your character will then strike a fun, Jojo-inspired pose that’s sure to turn heads.
