Monster Couch has announced the release date for the highly anticipated Wingspan: Asia Expansion, slated for June 16, 2025, across all digital platforms. This marks the third expansion for the digital version of the acclaimed board game, following the European and Oceania editions.
A New Avian Journey Awaits!
The Wingspan: Asia Expansion explores the diverse birdlife of Asia, introducing 90 new bird cards, each with unique abilities and strategic depth. These cards enrich the game’s extensive collection.
The expansion includes 13 new bonus cards, two tailored for Automa, the solo-play system. Each card offers detailed insights and facts about the featured birds, staying true to Wingspan’s educational style.
The standout feature is the Duet Mode, designed for two players. It introduces a shared Duet Map where players compete to claim habitat spaces and achieve dynamic round goals.
What’s the Vibe of Wingspan Asia?
In a word: stunning! The expansion features four new backgrounds inspired by Asia’s diverse landscapes, alongside eight culturally rich player portraits. Check out the expansion in the latest reveal trailer below.
Every session feels immersive, enhanced by four new music tracks composed by Paweł Górniak. A refreshed tutorial welcomes newcomers to the game.
