While the main storyline of Rinascita in Honkai: Star Rail's Wuthering Waves unfolds across the region, intriguing side quests await exploration. "Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms" is a prime example, tasking players with dispelling a powerful storm in Rinascita's northeastern corner.
Though optional, this quest is highly recommended, especially considering a crucial Nightmare Echo is trapped within the storm-ravaged Fagaceae Peninsula ruins. Prepare for an extended adventure; equip your strongest Resonators and get ready for a challenging journey.
Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms Walkthrough
This exploration quest is combat-heavy. Begin at the ruined base south of Shores of Last Breath, activating the broken Lumiscale Construct. The quest objectives are:
- Activate three Discipline Steles at designated locations.
- Defeat the Lumiscale Construct (first encounter).
- Chase and defeat the Lumiscale Construct (second encounter).
- Defeat the Dragon of Dirge.
Activating the Steles
Standing on the central glowing circle of each altar activates the Discipline Steles. Enemies interrupting this process will slow progress, so eliminate them swiftly. Moving too far from the altar will cause energy depletion. Version 2.0's elemental damage enhancements are invaluable here. The third stele requires repositioning before enemy spawns; manipulate character and camera angles to reveal the activation prompt.
Chasing and Defeating the Lumiscale Construct
Use your strongest Resonators to defeat the Lumiscale Construct upon returning to the starting area. A cutscene triggers upon depleting its health, leading to a chase deeper into the ruins. Navigating this area requires caution; falling debris and lightning present hazards. Eliminate enemies encountered along the way, culminating in a final confrontation with the Construct.
Confronting the Dragon of Dirge
This formidable foe can inflict significant damage, even one-shotting characters. Avoid its breath attacks and falling stars, aiming for stuns. Prioritize dodging powerful attacks and capitalize on stun opportunities for efficient combat.
Victory over the Dragon of Dirge completes the quest, unlocking access to Shores of Last Breath, including Dream Patrols and Nightmare Tempest Mephis in the northern arena.
