Marvel Rivals Unveils "The Maker," a New Mister Fantastic Skin
Get ready for a villainous twist! Marvel Rivals has dropped a sneak peek of a brand-new skin for Mister Fantastic – the menacing "The Maker." This dark alternate skin will debut alongside the character himself on January 10th with the launch of Season 1.
Season 1: Eternal Night Falls promises a significant update, including a fresh game mode, new maps, and more. The Maker skin depicts a sinister Reed Richards from the Ultimate universe, a villainous counterpart to the heroic version. His appearance reflects a brutal battle with the Human Torch, resulting in facial disfigurement concealed by a mask. This dark redesign isn't limited to Mister Fantastic; Invisible Woman is also getting a villainous makeover, known as Malice.
The Maker skin boasts a striking black and gray aesthetic, accented by a glowing blue circle on the chest and back. A slate-colored mask, featuring a blue visor, obscures most of his face. Gameplay footage showcases the suit's impressive elasticity and adaptability as he utilizes his powers.
While NetEase Games continues its steady stream of skin announcements, dataminers are uncovering even more unreleased cosmetics. A Lunar New Year skin for Spider-Man has surfaced, hinting at future releases. Other leaked cosmetics include skins for Hulk, Scarlet Witch, and Doctor Strange. While release dates remain unconfirmed, many fans speculate these skins might appear in the Season 1 battle pass.
NetEase Games is buzzing with activity, preparing for the upcoming Season 1 launch. This major update introduces "Doom Match," a thrilling 8-12 player free-for-all where the top 50% emerge victorious. Expect character balance adjustments, with buffs and nerfs applied across the hero roster. A darkened, ominous version of New York City is also slated to join the game as a new map.
