In the thrilling finale of *Dragon Ball Daima*, fans witness an intense showdown between Gomah and Goku, who unveils a new transformation. Many anticipated this episode would shed light on the absence of Super Saiyan 4 in *Dragon Ball Super*. So, how does the finale address this?
In episode 19, the Z Fighters regain their adult forms thanks to Glorio's wish. Vegeta attempts to defeat Gomah solo but fails, even as a Super Saiyan 3. Goku then steps up, harnessing the power bestowed by Neva in the previous episode, which he dubs "Super Saiyan 4."
With this new form, Goku confronts Gomah and manages to hold his own. If Super Saiyan 4 were truly part of Goku's arsenal, it's hard to believe he wouldn't have used it against Beerus in *Super*, especially with Earth's fate on the line. A potential resolution appears in the post-credits scene, where it's revealed that two more Evil Third Eyes exist in the Demon Realm. If *Dragon Ball Daima* returns for another season and these objects fall into the wrong hands, there could be a way for Super Saiyan 4 to re-emerge and then be lost again. This is speculative, but without such a plot development, *Dragon Ball* risks creating a significant plot hole that could fuel endless debates among fans.
