Isophyne enters the Marvel Contest of Champions arena with a unique fighting style. Kabam has crafted a rich backstory for her, hinting at a significant role in future game updates.
Isophyne’s gameplay revolves around a novel "Fractured Powerbar" mechanic. Unlike traditional characters who must sequentially build power for special moves, Isophyne can freely combine and repeat her specials in any order. This allows for highly adaptable and unpredictable combat strategies.
Isophyne's connection to the Founders, a mysterious group within Marvel Contest of Champions, will be further explored in 2025. For now, players can appreciate her striking appearance.
Marvel Contest of Champions is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary with a series of surprises throughout 2024 and into 2025. October's surprises included Glorious Guardian Reworks, the Alliance Super Season, and 60 FPS gameplay. Four more surprises are planned for November.
