Leaked 2005 James Bond audition tapes featuring Henry Cavill have surfaced online, showcasing his interpretation of 007 before Daniel Craig secured the role.
Games Radar reports that the footage, including auditions from Sam Worthington, Rupert Friend, and Anthony Starr, was uploaded to the Ron South YouTube channel, belonging to an independent filmmaker.
Cavill's audition has garnered significant attention, with many, including Casino Royale director Martin Campbell, praising his performance. Campbell reportedly favored Cavill but ultimately, other executives opted for Craig.
Cavill later fulfilled his spy aspirations in "Argylle," a film featuring a star-studded cast including Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, and Catherine O'Hara. Despite the impressive ensemble, the film received poor critical reception, scoring a mere 4/10 on IGN.
