The developers highlighted significant enhancements over the original release, yet a notable omission has sparked discussions: the absence of official mod support.
On Bethesda's support page, it's confirmed that Oblivion Remastered will not include official mod support. This decision comes without explanation, which is particularly striking given Bethesda's history of robust support for modding communities, including providing Creation Kits for games like Fallout 4, Skyrim, and Starfield.
Despite this setback, the modding community remains undeterred. Enthusiasts are currently using the old Creation Kit from the original game to bring their mods into the remastered version.
