How Does emmy Work? Download the App and Start Riding Your Moped

The emmy app is your gateway to effortless scooter mobility. Simply download the app to locate a nearby electric moped, reserve it, and unlock it. It's as simple as that. We handle the charging of the e-scooters, ensuring they're always ready for your next ride. Each scooter comes equipped with two helmets in different sizes and a mobile phone holder to enhance your urban travel experience.

Setting up your emmy account is a breeze:

1. Download the emmy app and register for just 4,95€, which includes 15 free minutes of riding.
2. Sign up and verify your EU driver's license: Once your account is approved, you're ready to ride our electric mopeds.
3. Ride: Use the app to find and reserve an electric moped near you.
4. End your rental: Park your emmy scooter in a designated public parking area within our business zone to end your rental.

How to Start Your emmy Electric Moped?

1. Open the helmet box: Press the red button to access a helmet.
2. Remove it from the kickstand: Position the moped between your legs and push the handlebars forward.
3. Turn on the power: Flip the red switch on the right handlebar to "ON" and ensure the side stand is fully retracted. For Yadea models, press the "P-button".
4. Start the engine: Pull the moped brake and press the "Down" switch on the left handlebar simultaneously.

In Berlin, Hamburg, and Dresden, you can ride the agile NIU scooter, perfect for city commuting with its lightweight design. In Hamburg, Kiel, and Munich, the Yadea moped is your ride of choice. Always park your moped in designated areas for mopeds and bikes, avoiding bike lanes, bus lanes, and pedestrian walkways.

How Much Does It Cost to Rent an emmy Moped?

Start with a one-time registration fee of 4,95€, which includes 15 free minutes for your first trip (valid for 3 months). You can book and reserve a moped for free for 15 minutes. Unlocking the moped costs 1 EUR, and you'll be charged 0.33 EUR per minute of riding. You can also pause your ride at a reduced rate if needed.
