Navigating the extensive content of The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) after a decade can be challenging. This guide chronologically lists all expansions and DLC, providing a clear starting point before diving into Gold Road.

ESO's initial DLC, Imperial City (August 2015), predates the annual Chapter release model introduced with Morrowind in 2017. The content structure has evolved, but the complete chronological order since 2015 is as follows:

  1. Imperial City (August 2015): PvP Zone, White Gold Tower, Imperial City Prison.
  2. Orsinium (November 2015): Major zone expansion introducing Wrothgar.
  3. Thieves Guild (March 2016): New skill line, Hew’s Bane zone, and faction story.
  4. Dark Brotherhood (May 2016): New skill line, Gold Coast zone, and faction story.
  5. Shadows of the Hist (August 2016): Dungeon DLC including Ruins of Mazzatun and Cradle of Shadows.
  6. Morrowind (June 2017): First Chapter expansion introducing the Warden Class, Vvardenfell zone, and Halls of Fabrication Trial.
