Konami's developers have shared updates on the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake. Producer Noriaki Okamura confirmed a 2025 release as the studio's top priority, emphasizing a commitment to delivering a polished, high-quality experience that meets fan expectations.
Okamura stated in a 4Gamer interview that the game is currently playable from start to finish, with development efforts now focused on refining details and enhancing overall quality. While initial speculation suggested a 2024 release, the game is now officially slated for next year. The remake will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The remake aims to faithfully capture the essence of the original while incorporating modern gameplay mechanics and significantly upgraded visuals. Beyond graphical improvements, Okamura also hinted at new features designed to enhance the overall gameplay experience.
