The US and Japan return as hosts, while France takes the spotlight this year, replacing Spain from 2024.
A global, virtual event is also anticipated, allowing worldwide participation following the in-person festivities.

Details are scarce, with focus currently on the upcoming GO Tour: Unova in February 2025 (New Taipei City, Taiwan & Los Angeles, CA).
Expect exciting Pokémon debuts, increased raid activity, special spawns, Shiny Pokémon releases, and other bonuses, similar to previous years. Specific details will be revealed after the GO Tour: Unova concludes.
