The 7th generation iPad Air was released in March and represents the current model. It's only a year newer than the 6th generation model, with the primary upgrade being the transition from the M2 to the M3 chip. The M3 chip offers a performance boost of about 20% over the M2 and is only about 20% slower than the iPad Pro's M4 chip. Besides the processor, it retains the stunning Ultra Retina XDR display, Wi-Fi 6E, and 5G cellular connectivity. It's compatible with the Apple Pencil Pro, Apple Pencil (USB-C), and Magic Keyboard, effectively transforming it into an iOS hybrid laptop. The iPad Air also supports Apple Intelligence.
