2025 Apple iPad Hits Record Low Price on Amazon

May 05,2025 Author: Matthew

Starting today, Amazon has significantly reduced the price of the brand-new 2025 11th generation Apple iPad (A16) tablet. The Blue and Yellow base models, featuring 128GB of storage and Wi-Fi connectivity, are now available for just $319.99 after a $30 price cut. This represents the most substantial discount seen on the latest iPad model since its debut earlier this year, making it an excellent gift option for Mother's Day, which falls on May 11. Given that only a select few colors are on sale at this price, the promotion is expected to last only a few days.

For the majority of users, the standard iPad (not the Air, Mini, or Pro) strikes the perfect balance between performance and affordability, offering all the advantages of iOS. The current model, released on March 12, 2025, marks a significant upgrade from the previous generation launched in October 2022. Key enhancements include a more powerful A16 processor (versus the A14), increased RAM from 4GB to 6GB, and doubled storage from 64GB to 128GB. Remarkably, the launch price of $349 is actually lower than the $399 starting price of its predecessor.

The features that remain unchanged include the 10.9" Liquid Retina display with a resolution of 2360x1640 (264ppi), USB Type-C charging, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and the same camera setup. Additionally, it's compatible with the Magic Folio keyboard, transforming it into a mini laptop for enhanced productivity, making it an ideal choice for students. It also supports the newer Apple Pencil with USB-C.
