8 games leave Xbox Game Pass in May

Microsoft has announced the list of games exiting its Xbox Game Pass subscription service on May 15, 2025. Eight titles will be removed, including fan favorites like Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Little Kitty, Big City.

Xbox Game Pass is Microsoft's premier gaming subscription service, offering instant access to hundreds of high-quality games across Xbox consoles, PC, and cloud platforms. Subscribers can enjoy new releases on launch day and play with friends across devices. The following eight games will soon depart from this extensive library.

Microsoft plans to reveal Wave 2 of its May 2025 Game Pass lineup shortly after these titles leave the service.

Earlier this month, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members gained cloud streaming capability directly on consoles, eliminating the need for downloads. Previously limited to mobile devices and smart TVs, this convenience now extends to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One systems.

While Grand Theft Auto 6's delay to May 2026 may disappoint fans, they can still enjoy GTA 5 Enhanced Edition, now available on both Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass – marking the title's debut on Microsoft's PC subscription service.
